- Sunday morning worship is at 9:45 am and typically lasts about 1 hour. Our worship style is traditional Methodist worship with hymn singing accompanied by piano and sometimes other special instruments, communal and private prayers, a reading of Scripture from the Bible and a sermon relating the Word of God to our daily lives.
- Children are welcome and wanted in worship. When children are present in the service, they are invited to the communion rail to have a children’s lesson with Terri McCloud.
- Safe Sanctuary. At Jackson Grove, we are committed to the safety of our children and vulnerable adults. umcsc.org/safe-sanctuaries
- Sunday School for Children and Adults is at 11:00 a.m., following worship. We have classes for elementary age (grades 1-5), and adults.
- We hold Communion the first Sunday of each month. All are invited to partake as you feel comfortable. Membership in the United Methodist Church or the Jackson Grove congregation is not required to participate. Receive the bread and wine (we substitute with grape juice) knowing that they are expressions of God’s love and forgiveness.
- We don’t have a dress code. Come dressed any way that you feel comfortable. Some choose to dress up, while others feel more comfortable dressed casually. We would love to have you come worship with us!
- Bi-Weekly Bible Study is held on Thursdays at noon. We meet at noon every other Thursday for a covered dish lunch and bible study. During the summer, we only meet once a month. Check the calendar for the Bible Study schedule.
